Free 3D CAD Turbine Plans
Build your own turbine ready for CNC

Over the years I sold thousands of CD's on eBay, and copies of my CD's are still being sold on eBay. I have showed countless of customers how to build their own turbines and will now show how you too can build your own turbine. I'm not limiting this website to turbines alone but will be adding a section on pulsejets. This is not a blog but will be updating this site daily.

Free Turbine Plans Ready For CNC
Development of a model turbine at the University of Steyr Austria


Based on the design of turbines DI Kurt Schreckling, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Steyr College.  A model  turbine was developed and tested. From this construction they have posted CAD drawings available to the public for
download! (2D design drawings on AutoCAD R14 or Genius) Under the direction of Prof. Ing. Paul Stockinger a team was
assembled in 1995 by then still in high school, as a research project, with the first prototype already
finished. turbo jet engine designs were based  of DI Kurt Schreckling. This model jet engine is a modified
version of earlier model engine and the KJ-66 ( Jesus de Arcos, Kurt Schreckling). Plans were drafted
with modern 3D - CAD software (Solid Edge of Unigraphics Solution)  built using modern components and  production methods
(CAM) and EDM a working  turbine was finally finished. The  data acquisition of the turbine on the test model was
performed using equipped with current dissemination data capture software, LabView. This with cooperation of the electronics department.

The following modification of the KJ 66 - were made
during construction of the project by the team:
Change lubrication of bearings
Use of hybrid - roller bearings
Manufacture of the turbine impeller using EDM
Use of high-CrNi - materials
Technical data optimized model turbine:
Diameter: 111 mm
Length: 240 mm
Weight: 930 g
Maximum duration thrust: 70 N
Speed: 110,000 min-1
Pressure ratio: 2.2
Mass flow: 0.22 kg / s
Exhaust temperature: 570 ° C
Fuel consumption: 250 ml / min
Oil consumption: 5 ml / min
Min duration thrust: 7 N at speed: 35,000 min-1
Fuel: diesel fuel mix mixture ratio: 95 / 5
Oil: Shell Aero 500
